Hemp House, Minnesota’s leader in low-dose THC retailing, is on the hunt for its next Part-Time Delivery Specialist. In this hybrid role, you will spend 60% of your time delivery orders to customers and 40% of your time assisting sales associates and shift leads in the store.

No car needed! Save the wear and tear on your personal vehicle and use our fully insured company vehicle to complete all deliveries during your scheduled shift.

Job Duties

• Deliver orders to customers in a safe and timely fashion
• Provide exceptional customer service by listening to customer needs, asking clarifying questions and providing informed recommendations about hemp products
• Adhere to Office of Cannabis Management regulations and follow Company Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) at all times
• Collect and verify identification for customers
• Process transactions in the company’s Point of Sale system with accuracy and efficiency
• Use safe and accurate cash handling practices to minimize risk of loss or theft
• Double-check the accuracy of orders dispensed by Company
• Maintain accurate records of all retail store activities including customer records, sales, pickups and deliveries
• Perform routine inventory counts and inspection, ensuring product stock is accurate, organized and in compliance
• Work with managers and other team members to thoughtfully display sales floor merchandise
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for customers

Required Skills & Experience

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver's license and a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
• Must maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) with no DUIs, DWIs, or other major infractions
  
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in delivery driving; DoorDash or Instacart experience greatly preferred; cannabis experience a major plus
• Extraordinary customer service skills and ability to engage with a wide range of personalities and experience levels
• Attention to detail and a commitment to process
• Ability to adhere to all Office of Cannabis Management regulations and company SOPs
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and kneel daily in retail environments that include concrete or other hard-surface floors
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 30 pounds multiple times daily
• Flexibility to work shifts that may include early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, or late nights, as well as weekends and holidays

Wage Transparency

The base pay for this position is from $18.00/hour, excluding tips.
